Bahrain International Circuit: Guided Tours and F1 Experiences at Sakhir

The Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), located in Sakhir, Bahrain, is a crown jewel of the Formula 1 calendar. It made history in 2004 as the first Formula 1 venue in the Middle East. Designed by Hermann Tilke, the 5.412 km track features four long straights and sharp braking zones, making it a prime location for overtaking. Since its tenth anniversary in 2014, the race has been held at night under spectacular floodlights.

In the 2026 season, Bahrain serves as the fourth round of the championship, with the Grand Prix weekend scheduled for April 10–12, 2026. Before the race, the circuit will host two official pre-season testing sessions from February 11–13 and February 18–20, providing the first public look at the new generation of F1 cars.

Unlike some European circuits that offer daily public tours, BIC provides structured guided tours known as “Circuit Tours” that can be booked in advance. These tours are available throughout the year and give visitors a rare behind-the-scenes look at one of the world’s premier racing venues. Whether you are a die-hard F1 fan or a curious traveler, the circuit offers exciting ways to experience the thrill of Formula 1 up close.
