The museum and Visitor Center were opened on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Swarovski factory in 1995. Swarovski Crystal Worlds (Kristallwelten Wattens) was created to celebrate the beauty and innovation of Swarovski crystals. Visitors explore indoor and outdoor installations, interactive galleries, and artistic exhibitions that highlight the versatility and brilliance of crystal in modern design. The experience blends education, creativity, and sensory engagement to create a truly unique visit.

For security and proprietary reasons, the actual industrial manufacturing facilities are not open to the general public. However, Swarovski Crystal Society (SCS) members can book exclusive private tours of the Swarovski Manufaktur between April and October to see the creative production process.

Wattens is located approximately 20 km east of Innsbruck.

Train: Take a regional train to Fritzens-Wattens (approx. 16-20 mins), followed by a short shuttle or walk.
